Wiscasset Blend™ Organic & Natural Earthworm Castings are odor-free and can be used both indoor and out. Wiscasset Blend™ contains no chemical fertilizers or synthetic substances, and is safe to use anywhere.

For use with flowers, vegetables, herbs and houseplants. Thoroughly mix Wiscasset Blend™ Earthworm Castings into the top of garden, potting or container soil, tamp down and water-in thoroughly.

Pots and containers:

  • For a 6″ pot, sprinkle two tablespoons on the top of the soil, scratch in and water.
  • For a 12″ pot, sprinkle four tablespoons on the top of the soil, scratch in and water.
  • For a 24″ pot, sprinkle eight tablespoons on the top of the soil, scratch in and water.

Window boxes and hanging baskets:
Apply liberally to cover the soil surface with a 1/4″ layer of earthworm castings. Scratch in and water.

Trees and shrubs:
Top-dress a generous layer of earthworm castings around the drip line of the plant, (the lateral diameter of the shrub or tree).

Compost tea:
Mix one cup of worm castings in a gallon of water, stirring vigorously to aerate. Let it sit for an hour and then stir again. Use the finished mixture to water-in the soil around vegetables, annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs. Or you can use as a foliar spray by applying the liquid directly to the leaves with a watering can or spray applicator.
