Coast of Maine Aeration Formula provides the perfect blend of washed Coconut Coir and Perlite to help you create your own custom soil. This 70/30 Coir and Perlite mix has been an industry staple for growers for years. Our coir is made from the pith of coconut husks, an alternative to peat-based medias, and is combined with perlite for better aeration and drainage, allowing growers and gardeners to more aggressively feed without worrying about overwatering. Plant directly into this blend for your favorite indoor and outdoor container plants. With its unsurpassed texture and porosity, Coast of Maine 70/30 Aeration formula provides an ideal growing environment.

Container Gardens and Repotting Plants

Fill your container to just below the top of the pot, leaving enough space for your root ball. Place your clone or transplant in the media and make sure the media is level across the surface, adding more if necessary. Water in thoroughly.

Plants grown in Aeration Formula should be watered and fertilized as needed. The frequency will depend on many factors, including your climate, container size, and plant size. When watering, add enough to fully saturate the media, allowing excess water to drain from the bottom of the container.
